Often the fireplace is the focal point for our open concept great rooms. This image shows the various components that make-up the centerpiece for one of our favorite gathering spots. The floating mantel above the fireplace creates a break in the stone and additional shelf for displaying items. The raised hearth beneath the fireplace features smoke colored sill caps as the hearthstone. The built-in custom soft-close cabinetry is full height (as compared to half-height) meaning they are built to the full vertical dimension of the recess containing them. The cabinets feature 'in-cabinet lighting' for additional ambience and the ability to highlight display items. The stone features mini-can accent lighting meant to enhance and embolden the texture of the stone.
